CEMiPoS Submits Comments to the Expert Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples

CEMiPoS researchers have contributed comments on the EMRIP’s Study on the Right to Land under the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and Report on the Right to Repatriation of ceremonial objects, human remains, and intangible resources under the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.

The EMRIP was established in 2007 and provides the United Nations Human Rights Council with advice regarding the rights of Indigenous peoples as described in the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. This year’s annual session will take place from November 30th to December 4th. In preparation for the session, the EMRIP has asked for comments on its draft reports, linked above.
